In the fall of 2000, Chevron Corp. and Texaco Inc. announced a merger to create a single, international energy company – ChevronTexaco Corp (now Chevron Corporation). By 2001, ChevronTexaco began to consolidate and re-design their combined facilities in the Houston area
The merger design team commissioned ATI to provide MEP design services in a 2-year period for over 250K-sf remodel space in five (5) separate facilities, including Chevron Tower, Texaco’s Bellaire campus, Chevron Hayes Rd facility, and Texaco’s Wilcrest building (over 60 projects total)
Chevron Texaco’s space utilizes high-end lighting and finishes to provide an exciting, productive, and enjoyable work environment. Air-conditioning, power infrastructure upgrades to accommodate Chevrons technology platforms, telecommunications system design, fire alarm, and temperature controls upgrades were provided.
