Landmark Graphics is the leading provider of 3D-imaging software and services for the upstream oil and gas industry. Owned by Halliburton Company, Landmark Graphics relocated some of their regional corporate offices to a 60,000-sf space in Austin, Texas.
Office lighting systems were carefully chosen to provide comfortable and efficient lighting levels for dual-monitor PCs; indirect light fixtures eliminate glare on the screens. For this project, ATI closely coordinated with the City of Austin Energy Code to maximize the aesthetic effect of the lighting systems.
The space includes a 2,500 sf raised-floor data center; with power/data cabling below removable floor panels for quick and easy access. Sub-floor fire protection and water detection monitor critical wires and cables that run the entire Landmark Graphics operation. An FM-200 fire suppression system, complete with electronic monitoring and power control, protects the data center equipment.
