The CenterPoint Commercial and Industrial Standard Offer Program (C&I SOP) provides incentive money for the installation of energy efficient measures that reduce summer peak demand and provide annual energy savings.
Each project must involve a peak demand greater than 100 kW (250 kW for multiple sites), and be able to reduce demand minimum 20 kW. In addition, each measure must have a minimum useful life of 10 years to qualify.
As a C&I SOP project sponsor, ATI has secured more than $350K in incentive funds for six (6) AT&T facilities (850K-sf) in the CenterPoint service area. For these facilities, ATI provided energy analyses/models, determined metering and verification strategies, and administered project funding. Energy efficient measures include lighting retrofits, chiller replacement, control system modifications, and variable speed pumping/fan control.
