Cameron Controls and Research Campus
Houston, Texas
Cameron Controls is one of only a few manufacturers of a broad range of specialty control devices for sub-sea use worldwide in the oil industry. To simulate real world environments, Cameron constructed a new, 56,000-sf Research and Testing Center (RTC) in Houston. ATI was integrally involved in the design process from the project's inception to its grand opening for the year’s Offshore Technology Conference.
The Cooper Cameron division relocated its headquarters to a new campus shared with Cameron's RTC, and added a 36,000-sf manufacturing facility with 42,000-sf support offices. ATI provided full MEP Engineering Design services for both projects, and provided Construction Management services for the Cooper Cameron Corporate Office and Manufacturing Facility.
The air-conditioning systems for the manufacturing and research areas incorporate sophisticated controls and air stratification to provide a cost-effective, energy-efficient HVAC solution.
