Turkish Petroleum
Visualization Center
Ankara, Turkey
Turkish Petroleum (TPAO), headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, is the national oil and gas company of Turkey. In partnership with Halliburton, ATI-CM, Inc. was commissioned to design and build a 180 m2 (1,950 ft2) visualization center in their Ankara office. The facility consists of an electrical support room, computer room, projector equipment room, and an active-stereo, 3D visualization / interpretation area.
The space is conditioned by a series of redundant, split-system air-handling units, designed to meet the precise temperature and humidity requirements of the space, while maintaining a nearly silent environment for geophysical interpretation. The new electrical system consists of a new 30-KVA UPS / battery system for the center’s mainframe computers and projection equipment.
