Faith United Methodist Church, founded in 1970, relocated its Woodland’s facility to a new single story, 20K-sf Sanctuary and Education Center in Montgomery County, Texas. The new facility includes a 350-seat worship center, adult and youth classrooms, choir rehearsal, multi-use hall, administrative offices, and a full-service kitchen.
The Sanctuary features a large cupola supported by a glue-lam wood structure, and incorporates a state-of-the-art lighting control and sound system. Split-system DX units and water heaters are effectively located above the ceilings in mechanical mezzanines to increase space efficiency. The Gathering Hall includes aesthetically pleasing lighting positioned in a barrel-vaulted ceiling to accommodate a variety of events.
The facility was completed and occupied in spring of 2006.
