Benihana Inc, operator of the nation's largest chain of Japanese theme and sushi restaurants, opened the newest member of the Company's fast-growing RA Sushi chain of restaurants in Houston, TX in March of 2006. The new 5,900-sf RA Sushi, located in Highland Village Shopping Center, expands the chain to nine units, with additional sites under development in California, Florida, Illinois, and Nevada.
RA Sushi features a two-story entry, full-service sushi bar and prep area, complete cooking line-up, and dining and bar seating with operable windows. Low voltage track lighting, decorative incandescent sources, and LED rope accent the entry stair and dining areas to provide an exciting, high-energy dining experience.
