Walgreen’s is a national retail pharmacy chain considered by many to be a leader in innovative drugstore retailing, having pioneered many store features over the last two decades that are becoming standards in the industry.
ATI has provided full MEP design services, including exterior site electrical and utility work, for more than twenty (20) Walgreen’s stores in Texas. ATI’s scope includes fire alarm design, determination of fire hazard classification and corresponding fire sprinkler requirements, and coordination of satellite system installation linking all stores with corporate headquarters. A typical new Walgreen’s store is approximately 14,500-sf, constructed in a single-story building.
Additionally, ATI has participated in Walgreen prototype revisions by designing energy recovery solutions for stores throughout the country that require alternative energy saving methods for local code compliance.
