Infrastructure Upgrades

AT&T’s Houston Parkwest campus is a 4-building, 320,000-sf telecommunications facility consisting of data centers, administrative offices, shipping and receiving, and light industrial operations areas. Parkwest functions as an operations center for AT&T’s bill printing and mailing business, and serves as a central data center for AT&T’s Internet Services group.
For the past 5 years, ATI has been involved in major infrastructure upgrades to the facilities’ electrical distribution systems, emergency power infrastructure, security, and life safety systems. Upgrades include the addition of a 2 MW, diesel generator and fueling system, two (2) 4,000 A transfer switches, and 500 KVA “B”-side UPS (upgradeable to 750 KVA). Replacement of existing fire alarm system with fully addressable, code-compliant system, and security system modifications and upgrades were also provided.
