ATI is currently designing the MEP systems for LA Fitness’s newest Houston health club, a four-story, 52,000-sf space in the Medical Center. The fitness center will be located in the 2130 Holcombe Professional Building, a 12-story office and hospital complex with five-story parking structure.
Amenities include lap pool and spa, locker room areas, full-court basketball, racquetball courts, indoor cycling, cardiovascular training, free weights, personal trainers, and childcare services. Chilled water air-handling units served by the base building central plant will provide air-conditioning for the space; high-end lighting and finishes are planned for an exciting and enjoyable workout environment.
Partnering with Heights Venture Architects, ATI is presently involved in underground design for the LA Fitness pool and locker room areas, including mechanical programming, plumbing design, and electrical coordination with the base building systems.
